Please refer to Psalms 78:1-8. 🙏🙏♥️ A maskil of David. vs:1 My people, listen to my instruction; incline your ears to the words of my mouth. I will open my mouth in a parable; I will reveal hidden truths, ancient things—things we have heard and known, which our ancestors have passed down to us. We will not conceal them from their descendants; we will proclaim to the next generation the praiseworthy deeds of the LORD, His power, and the wonders He has performed. He established statutes for Jacob and appointed a law for Israel, which He commanded our ancestors to teach their children, so that the next generation might know them, even the children yet to be born, and in turn, they would teach their children. Then they would place their trust in God, not forget His deeds, but keep His commands. vs:8 They would not be like their ancestors—a stubborn and rebellious generation, whose hearts were not loyal to God, whose spirits were not faithful to Him.
Meditation: God commands every generation to instruct their children so they may recognize His mighty works, place their hope solely in Him, obey His commands, and avoid the rebellious errors of their forebears.

• Ensure that children remember the miraculous deeds and power God demonstrated to Israel throughout history.
• Facilitate generational teaching and the transmission of this sacred knowledge.
• Guide future generations to place their ultimate hope and confidence in God rather than in themselves.
• Inspire trust and encourage obedience, fostering the active observance of God's laws and covenant instructions.
• Break cycles of rebellion by preventing the next generation from repeating the stubborn, unfaithful, and disloyal patterns of their ancestors.

Amen. This training will be concise, lasting approximately 20 to 30 minutes, yet rich in spiritual and biblical content designed to inspire hope and deepen understanding.

Good morning. I am Gremain. Our initial training series will focus on the individual, emphasizing the protection of our hearts and the safeguarding of our thoughts from corruption. Within each of us reside two evil elements, and your current thoughts may not align with either. To prevent excessive wandering of the mind, let us turn to the Bible, to Jeremiah 17:9: "The heart is deceitful above all things and beyond cure. Who can understand it?" This appears to be a rhetorical question. Consider also James 3:5-6: "Likewise, the tongue is a small part of the body, but it makes great boasts. Consider what a great forest is set ablaze by a small spark." vs:6 The tongue is also a fire, a world of evil among the parts of the body. It corrupts the whole body, sets the whole course of one's life on fire, and is itself set on fire by hell. 

Proverbs 22:6 states: "Start children off on the way they should go, and even when they are old they will not turn from it." This well-known verse from the Old Testament, alongside the heart’s condition described in Jeremiah 17:9, reveals the state of the human heart after the fall—the inner self. Biblically, the heart encompasses not only feelings but also the mind, choices, thoughts, and deepest desires. It reflects what one truly desires and how one chooses to act. The heart can justify wrongful behavior, conceal hidden motives, and make selfish actions appear noble or good to oneself. It can deceive by leading one to believe falsehoods. The corrupted nature of the heart means it is infected by sin and cannot heal or correct itself without divine intervention. This contrasts with modern culture’s advice to "follow your heart," as the Bible warns that inner desires are unreliable guides. Who can understand it? vs:10" The answer is: The Lord searches every person's heart and mind. Because God fully knows our hidden motives, He judges people fairly based on their true deeds. God does not require evidence or witnesses to administer justice and pronounce judgment. Therefore, in every major decision, God must be central. Trust in God's wisdom, study His Word, and seek godly counsel rather than relying on personal feelings. Ask God for His guidance and wait patiently for His revelation. Jeremiah 17:14 says, "Heal me, Lord, and I will be healed; save me, and I will be saved, for you are the One I praise." Psalm 119:130 states, "The unfolding of your words gives light; it gives understanding to the simple." vs:105 "Your word is a lamp for my feet, a light on my path." The lamp symbolizes the Spirit of the Lord or the spirit within a person, while the light represents the truth from the Holy Scriptures. Together, they guide our feet, minds, and thoughts. Another essential solution in decision-making is adherence to the law of the LORD. Psalm 119:1-2 declares, "Blessed are those whose ways are blameless, who walk according to the law of the LORD. Blessed are those who keep his statutes and seek him with all their heart." Psalm 119:9 asks, "How can a young person stay on the path of purity?" The answer is: By living according to Your word. The laws of the Lord, found in the first four books of the Bible, were affirmed by Jesus Christ, the Messiah, in the New Testament. Amen,

The Tongue: Proverbs 18:21 states, "The tongue has the power of life and death, and those who love it will eat its fruit." Biblically, no human being, including believers and Christian leaders, can fully tame their tongues; all face similar struggles. Words carry consequences; what we say is never neutral. Our speech shapes relationships, environments, and minds. Often, we utter words we cannot retract due to uncontrolled emotions, feelings, or thoughts, resulting in consequences or lifelong regrets. Death: Harsh words, gossip, lies, or cruel criticism can destroy lives, trust, relationships, crush spirits, and ruin futures. Psalm 52:1-4 states, "Why do you boast of evil, you mighty hero? Why do you boast all day long, you who are a disgrace in the eyes of God? You who practice deceit, your tongue plots destruction; it is like a sharpened razor. You love evil rather than good, falsehood rather than speaking the truth. You love every harmful word, you deceitful tongue." Eating the Fruit: Those who love their words will eventually live with the real-life consequences of their speech habits. Speaking poison results in a toxic environment. Consequences: Psalm 52:5-7 warns, "Surely God will bring you down to everlasting ruin: He will snatch you up and pluck you from your tent; he will uproot you from the land of the living. The righteous will see and fear; they will laugh at you, saying, 'Here now is the man who did not make God his stronghold but trusted in his great wealth and grew strong by destroying others.'" Those who slander others, believing they will be rewarded, will instead receive a double portion from the cup of the Lord. The Power of Life: Speaking words of truth, encouragement, forgiveness, and kindness can restore hope, mend broken hearts, and build others up. Believers should promote this in churches rather than engaging in gossip against their own brothers and sisters. Unfortunately, some Christian leaders fail to follow the Lord’s command by listening to gossip instead of counseling believers to resolve conflicts directly with one another. They often take matters into their own hands, twisting the Word of the Lord and slandering members. Psalm 50:19-21 states, "You use your mouth for evil and harness your tongue to deceit. You sit and testify against your brother and slander your own mother's son. When you did these things and I kept silent, you thought I was exactly like you. But I now arraign you and set my accusations before you." Meaning and Definition: To harness your tongue for evil means to use your words to trap and manipulate others for personal gain. To testify against your fellow believers and spread lies to destroy their reputation reflects a false belief that such actions will bring reward. "Testify against your own mother's son" refers to slandering fellow believers who share the same spiritual family—churches or pastors. Because the Lord remained silent, they presumed His approval, but now He brings charges against them. Arraign: God will bring them before His throne to present the charges and demand a plea. Exhortation: Hebrews 10:31 warns, "It is a dreadful thing to fall into the hands of the living God." Matthew 5:23-24 instructs, "Therefore, if you are offering your gift at the altar and there remember that your brother or your sister has something against you, leave your gift there in front of the altar. First go and be reconciled to them, then come and offer your gift." Qualities of Training Believers: Daniel 6:3-5 recounts, "Now Daniel so distinguished himself among the administrators and the satraps by his exceptional qualities that the king planned to set him over the whole kingdom. At this, the administrators and the satraps tried to find grounds for charges against Daniel in his conduct of government affairs, but they were unable to do so. They could find no corruption in him, because he was trustworthy and neither corrupt nor negligent. Finally these men said, 'We will never find any basis for charges against this man Daniel unless it has something to do with the law of his God.'" This serves as the ultimate example of how believers should live. Though accusations may arise, the Lord will not allow His faithful people to fall into the hands of their adversaries; He will deliver His people from their enemies. Amen

No training or discipline is ever easy, but the results are invaluable. Let us pray: Dear gracious Father, may Your will be done, may Your name be praised throughout the earth. Grant us peace and prosperity. May You use this training to transform Your people’s hearts. You fulfilled all the promises made to our ancestors, and as they come to us, may You continue to fulfill them in our lives so that Your faithfulness and righteousness endure through all generations. We praise and glorify Your great name. Thank You, loving Father, for Your Son Jesus Christ, whom You sent to save the world. Thank You, Lord Almighty, for salvation, love, and faithfulness.
